Developmental milestones

0-3 months

  • While lying on tummy, pushes up on arms
  • While lying on tummy, lifts and holds head up
  • Able to move fists from closed to open
  • Able to bring hands to mouth
  • Moves legs and arms off of surface when excited

3-6 months

  • Reach for and grasp objects and toys
  • Sit with help and hold head steady
  • Shake a rattle, smile and move my arms and legs
  • Babbles, coos, and gurgles
  • Rock back and forth on hands and knees to get ready to crawl
  • Start using your Bibago ® without the bowl

6-9 months

  • Pick up a cup and put it to her mouth
  • Sit steadily without help for longer periods
  • Crawl or move by shuffling on his bum
  • Stand firmly on legs when held in a standing position
  • Bang objects together
  • Start using your Bibago ® with the bowls

9-12 months

  • Crawl very well
  • Walk while holding on to furniture
  • Stand by flexing his knees and pushing off from a squat
  • Use the tip of the index finger and thumb to pick up small items
  • Chew small pieces of food
  • Use your Bibago ® as they crawl around the house

12-15 months

  • Start walking
  • Says "mama" and "dada" 
  • Plays patty-cake and may give a "high five" 
  • Make marks with a crayon
  • Chew small pieces of food
  • Use your Bibago ® as they walk around

15-24 months

  • Uses at least 50 words
  • Understands action words
  • Follows 2-step related direction
  • Enjoys listening to stories
  • Enjoys being swung and gently thrown in air
  • Is able to participate in small groups with other children
